誓教寺のホームページにようこそ
こちらは山口県の瀬戸内海に面した小さな町の山の中にある、浄土真宗(単立)のお寺です。
宗派色はわりあい薄めで、宗派よりも「仏教のお寺」という、考えてみれば当たり前のスタンスで活動しております。
仏教のこと、浄土真宗のこと、お墓やお葬式や来世のことや人生のことなど、気になることがあれば、お気軽に、いつでもぶらりとお訪ねください。

Welcome to Seikyoji Temple!
This is an independent Jodo-shinshu (founded by Shinran 1172-1262) Buddhist temple. Jodo-shinshu being based on the Mahayana tradition, chief priest Akira and his wife Ryuko, also a priest, are deeply interested in Theravada tradition which directly comes from Sakyamuni Buddha.
Akira tries to re-connect the essence of Jodo-shinshu to the origin of Buddhism.
Ven. Alubomulle Sumanasara visits Seikyoji temple four times a year (staying about 4 days each time) and preach sermons, teach Pali canons and train vipassana meditation. Everyone is welcome. Please check the temple calendar or ask to Seikyoji for his schedule.
